Top Japan downhill skier AND chef serves up creative set menu offerings with fresh local produce, by reservation a day in advance only. The same family runs the family inn there and cafe and jam / juice shop next door on Oyu Road.

Japanese and western mix, set menu, different every night. Book well in advance. Very difficult to book on weekends.

Coffee shop / Jam factory famous for its steamed buns. Located on the main street in Nozawa Onsen, a lot of seating inside. Great ice cream and coffee.
