Campground with a swimming lake, hiking trails, picnic tables, other activities. Dogs can't get on the beach, but can access the lake from other areas of the shoreline. $5 day use - honor system for payment.

Take a short drive to Brandywine Recreation Area (known as Brandywine Dam or Brandywine Lake to locals). Great area for fishing for bass, trout, and catfish or take a dip in the lake at the swimming area. This is also a great area for walking, hiking, and bike riding. Past the campground area, you will find Sawmill Trail which is a beautiful hike. Just be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife including bears. There are bathrooms available.

Great place to swim in the warmer months. Not too crowded. Grills, volleyball and soccer. Hiking and campgrounds. Must make a stop for lunch at Brandywine family dining while your there!
