Starbucks has nothing on this wonderful little gem, located in the heart of Daufuskie's Historic District. Brian and Pam will make you feel like old friends from the moment you walk in the door...truly the place where "everyone knows your name." They have a great selection of coffee drinks and use high quality coffee, tea, and hot chocolate products. (If you're really lucky, you'll have a chance to sample some "Pam-Cakes"...but don't take too long because they go fast!) The School Grounds Coffee shop is located in the historic Mary Fields School, built by the WPA. It is a 2 minute walk from the Da Fuskie Dreams House.

Pam and Brian are wonderful individuals who own the bakery. You can't leave the shop without trying one of Pam's baked goods!

Enjoy some of the best coffee in the area at School Grounds. Located in the old cafeteria of the historic Maryfield School, this coffee is sure to get you going. If Pam has baked any treats, they're a must! Open Mondays - Saturdays, 9:00 - 4:00. Closures may occur around holidays and off season.

Great coffee in the schoolhouse where Pat Conroy taught. The owners, Pam and Brian are the nicest folks who will help you get to know your way around the island.
