One of those hidden gems. 8 hectares of native Flora and Fauna. 15 min circular track walk, look for the Giant old totara( said to be one of the largest in NZ) Miro, Matai. Swim in the same river that flows past Tē Kanukā ( Mangatoro Stream) Stunning bird life, Tui, Bell birds, Grey Warbler, Fantail. Take a picnic from Tē Kanukā to relax in nature here. 15 min drive from Tē Kanukā.
