Snowbird ski resort is a great place to ski, hike and picnic

A favorite if you don't mind driving 45 minutes. This is a nice place on blue bird days. We don't recommend skiing here in snow storms as they have bad white outs with poor visibility, especially on Cloud Chair and the Tram.
