This will give you a good idea of the history, culture & legends of Europe’s best-loved city. We will head through Green Park to Buckingham Palace, where we'll watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony (Sun / Mon / Wed / Fri only) After witnessing this traditional ritual, we'll head to Westminster. Sights we'll see along the way include Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square, Horse Guard Parade, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament. Our last stop in Westminster before heading underground on the tube is the start of Westminster Bridge where we will be able to see the Eye and other sights. Then we'll go to the London Bridge area, we'll see Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, The Clink Prison, London Bridge, The old warehouse district, Borough Market, The Shard, views of the Square Mile, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London. Let us start by saying the whisky is optional, drink alternatives are available and the cost of the whisky is not included in the £14. We do this to make the event as inclusive as possible for drinker, non drinker, whisky lovers and whisky sceptics alike. The whisky or drink alternatives can be added on on the day. We meet just off the iconic Royal Mile inside a café/bar called Hot Toddy. We have the entire downstairs area reserved for us, ensuring lots of space for the group. During the course of two hours we will sample four outstanding Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from the four major whisky producing regions of Scotland. We will discus some of the history of Scotland and explore the reasons as to why whisky is now so ingrained as a staple of Scottish culture and we have some great tales from Scotland and the world of whisky to share with you. Other things to note This tour departs promptly and we can not wait for guests who are late. Feel free to turn up at Hot Toddy earlier to enjoy some food or drink before the event starts. People under the age of 18 are not permitted on this tour and exceptions can not be made I'm afraid.

We'll discover the streets and secret alleyways of the Old Town area of Edinburgh, starting at Edinburgh Castle, then we'll wander down to "Diagon Alley" and find the gravestones of "Voldemort" and some other well known names in the Harry Potter series. We'll also spot "Hogwarts School" of Wizardry and find where the writer found her inspiration from. Learn about the famous and not so famous cafes where J.K. Rowling began her writing career and finished in the realms of luxury. The tour will last approximately 1 hour. However, please allow for an additional 20 minutes if tour runs over depending on group size, photo opportunities and question time. Other things to note The tour will be outdoors, whether rain or shine so come prepared to walk around for over an hour. If it is raining, I suggest to wear sturdy shoes - the graveyard can be muddy. The sheep are free to choose to walk away to graze too I recommend walking from the village to the location, 25 mins but you may drive the rough stone farm track of 1k. Alpacaly Ever After are delighted to be working with Forestry Commission England to bring our world famous alpaca walks to Whinlatter Forest! Trail through England’s only true mountain forest, get to know our delightful alpacas up close along the way, take part in feeding time and ask as many questions as you can think of! Once you've booked and found your way to Whinlatter Forest, we will meet you at the visitor centre. After an introduction and covid safety briefing we will walk you to our alpaca boys eagerly waiting for a walk and some snacks. We will show you how to walk an alpaca and introduce you to your walk buddy. Once we're all ready we'll head off on our walk through the forest, along the way our guide will tell you about your alpaca, answer any questions you have and give you a complete lesson in alpacas and llamas. We have several stops for snacking and selfies and an amazing viewpoint with views over the Lake District. On our journey we will be on multi-user trails and single tracks enjoying England's only Mountain Forest. At the end of our walk we will give you time to get selfies, feed the alpacas and ask any more burning questions. As a Non-Profit Social Enterprise all the income from our activities goes back into supporting the work we do re-homing and rescuing alpacas and llamas, and providing free and subsidised activities for 3rd sector organisation.

I will meet guests at Canary Wharf and we will take the scenic route to my home. I live in a vibrant East London location full of amazing architecture and pretty water views and I will tell you what it's like to live in this part of the city. We will arrive at my little Dutch barge home which is full of historic charm and I will show you around and we can get to know each other! I am very chatty and love meeting new people so we will never run out of conversation! I will explain the ingredients we will use for my version of the traditional British dish of fish and chips, vegan style, and then we will start the cooking class. Vegan food is very popular in London and a good choice for those of us who want healthy, ecological and sustainable food without any animal products. My boat is cute and cosy and for this reason, the maximum number of guests will be 3. In warm weather we can sit upstairs on deck with views of the water and my lovely patio garden. I have plants everywhere! Our marina is private and guests are only allowed with residents permission so you will be secure and away from busy crowds. If you plan to drive here, we have guest parking spaces. After cooking you will sit down to eat the delicious food we have cooked! NB: Our boat is well ventilated and I will provide gloves and sanitiser as required. I have been fully Covid vaccinated too!

These hand made soft toys are made using African prints and other organic materials. We will first visit African print shops in Brixton Village and Market Row shops. This area has been revitalized and has come to be a cultural highlight of South London. Then we'll head back to my studio, where you'll learn to assemble and sew your own soft toy, mixing and matching pre-cut fabric parts according to your taste. I'll teach you how to make and sew together your Tata handmade soft toy. Afterwards, you'll take home your own unique handmade soft toy. Tata handmade soft toy is a registered British design and they make beautiful gifts for children and adults alike. They are also perfect African inspired interior design accent.

We'll start off with our 1st beer and a tour of our building, a 16th Century prison and courthouse. We have some original features untouched for hundreds of years. We'll make our way down to the hidden vaults under our building, where you'll try a selection of 4 other local beers in the most hidden tasting room in Edinburgh! Along with learning about the beers from an expert guide and the history of brewing in Edinburgh, participants will get to see the secret rooms hidden in the old prison, as well as stories of prisoners who were held here, the dark and grimy history of Auld Reekie, and how beer shaped the way we live our lives today.
