La Quinta Golf & Country Club is one of the busiest golf resorts on the Costa del Sol/Costa del Golf. It is situated on the road to Ronda, very close to Malaga and just opposite the Puerto Banús tourist resort. It was designed by two Spanish professional players, Antonio Garrido and Manuel Piñero. It is a comfortable and fun course which is suitable for players of all levels, with the difficulty lying in the uneven fairways and the deep bunkers. There is an 18-hole course and another of 9 holes which can be combined to suit the wishes of the player. It is a very popular course and many famous people play there. It has a superb Clubhouse offering activities such as a gym, paddle-tennis courts, a swimming pool, squash courts, Turkish baths and a therapy and beauty centre. It is open all year round.
