The newly rebuilt pier at Buckroe Beach is great for fishing or to take a walk along to see the sights & what everyone's catching! The Pier is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day April through New Year’s Eve (except for Thanksgiving, Christmas & extreme weather). Sightseeing adult price 1.00 - child .50.

The pier remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until December 31. The only time the pier will close is during extremely bad weather i.e. Nor'easters, hurricanes etc. All required fishing licensing has been purchased by the pier, so you do not have to have a license. However if you do have a current Virginia Salt Water Fishing License, you will receive $2.00 off of the adult admission. The daily pass is valid anytime between 6:00am - 6:00am in a 24 hour period.It has rest rooms, a snack bar, and bait shop. The T section at the end of the pier is 70 feet wide and 29 feet long. The pier also has two shelters, two fish cleaning stations, and an adjacent parking lot.
