What better way to end the day than a dip in the cold waters of the Atlantic! This is a real treat located along the coast road of Easkey you will find this beautiful natural pool that is sheltered from the wild waves on the other side of the reef beyond. The pool was created by the vision of a Doctor in the 60's who believed everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim so together with 3 other local men they built a break wall just high enough to allow the pool to fill on high tide and retain the water on low tide. It is shallow on the break wall side and deep enough to jump from the rocks on the opposite end of the pool. The pool is abundant with sea life such as starfish, crabs and lots of different species of seaweed. Take the plunge, you won't regret it!
