For history buffs out there, Galleria Perdana is one of the must things to do in Langkawi. Founded by Dr Mahathir Mohamad, this museum displays the many gifts the former prime minister received during his earlier time in the office.We all know the history of the legendary man but it is fun to see how he was honoured by the previous heads of states for his various achievements. To mention a few, the museum displays Formula One racing cars and showpieces like vases that hold the picture of Dr Mahathir. The museum itself is an architecturally rich building with high ceiling and handcrafted design. Galleria Perdana can be a great experience to spend a lazy afternoon on your tour to Langkawi if you don’t feel like doing something too fancy for the day.
