Want to catch an awesome view of the entire valley? This 25 minute drive will give you a panorama of the entire valley, surrounding peaks, along with Utah lake. Hint: to make it more fun, go at sunset and enjoy watching all the city lights come on.

If you want to drive up a mountain and see all the city lights sparkling below, Squaw Peak is the place to go.

Squaw Peak Overlook is a beautiful view of Utah Valley. A short drive up Provo Canyon is the turn off. You can drive up Squaw Peak road for a beautiful overlook. If you are more of an experienced hiker, you can hike to the top of Squaw Peak via the Squaw Peak Trail that begins at the Rock Canyon Trailhead. This hike is rated hard by All Trails and features an elevation climb of 2700 feet. I have done this hike a number of times, and the view from the top is breathtaking.
