Interesting history of the 1910 Wallace fire that burned more than 3 million acres. Its so beautiful now you would never know there was such a devastating fire. Also Wallace is a cool little mining town with some fun shops and pubs.

Great hike - first half is very easy and second half a little more difficult. Improved trail the entire route. Great piece of local history along a lovely mountain stream.

This is a 4 mile easy hike that we have done with our daughter when she was 9 and had no problems. Very educational and historical.
