This waterfall is easy to get to, just off a gravel road about 15 minutes south of the property. Seldom busy is free. Can have strong currents so is safest during the dry Season, November through end of April.

Cascada El Pavon is a beautiful waterfall just outside of Ojochal. From the highway turnoff, it is approximately 2kms to the falls. Like most secondary roads in CR it is bumpy but drivable. Parking is on the side of the road. There is no entrance fee. The hike down to the falls is short and easy. The area is shaded and cool, the water warm and the natural pool inviting. There is a restaurant and tilapia fish farm across the road.

A real "locals" waterfall! No fees...few people...2 WD access..... 5-minute walk......this is a no-brainer....DO IT !

Waterfall is located few minutes past Ojochal village. Easy access from the road. There is a local restaurant near the waterfall where you can enjoy a typical Costa Rican food.
