Great for your pups and a really nice walking trail. Free and open dawn-dusk.

This spot is close to Lake Monroe and the mouth of the St Johns River, which flows north to Jacksonville. It is a nice quiet spot with plenty of walking trails through the woods and around a spring fed pond, and nature exhibits. Free.

Amazing fishing, beautiful nature trails, picnic areas, canoe rentals, playground and a great dog park.
