Located in the sleepy roman village of Papcastle (the next village to Cockermouth) you will find The Belle Vue which serves hearty pub meals from a vast menu. Excellent quality food and drinks.

Another favourite of mine is the Belle Vue at Papcastle, if you fancied a little walk then you can follow the river from Broughton all the way to Papcastle.
