Fresh market, modern tapas. One of my favourite places to have lunch, dinner, or just a pre-lunch vermouth on a saturday or sunday (when they do some live music) in Ruzafa, currently the most fashionable district in Valencia.

Today we are talking about the Vermúdez Bar, yes with V, and the name is an original adaptation of the surname and its star appetizer, vermouth, which is prepared as the canons with olive and orange slice. In Valencia there is a neighborhood that is being reborn from its ashes, taking on color and above all character, that neighborhood is Ruzafa. Hoy os hablamos del Bar Vermúdez, si con V, y es que el nombre es una original adaptación del apellido y de su aperitivo estrella el vermut, que lo preparan como mandan los cánones con aceituna y rodajita de naranja. En Valencia hay un barrio que esta renaciendo de sus cenizas, tomando color y sobretodo carácter, ese barrio es Ruzafa. Tiendas bohemias, artistas, diseñadores, mezcla de culturas y una rica gastronomía hacen que pasar una tarde o noche por sus calles y terrazas sea una opción más que recomendable en la capital del Túria.
