Great food in a beautiful location on the beach at Polkeris

One of our fave local spots to eat! The resturant inside is often booked well in advance, but they also have tables on the beach which are first come first serve and are the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the sea.

One of absolute favourites. Excellent sea food choices, pizza, pasta amongst other choices, and great views across St Austell Bay. Must book asap as it gets full . The location is a converted lifeboat station. Watch the sunset from here, it is trully a wonderful location. Park in a big rough carpark on the right as you drive down the hill, free after 6pm, but do check that this is still the case when you visit! Only four miles from Sky Cottage

Not in Fowey but at the nearby Polkerris beach. KEEN walkers can walk to Polkerris from the Old Watermill and work up an appetite for lunch and then get a taxi back. The restaurant is an old RNLI lifeboat station (1859-1922) with beach frontage. Dogs accepted at outside tables. Lots of seafood, and locally sourced produce. Great pizzas from wood-fired pizza oven. Have a cocktail and watch the sunset. Also open for breakfast. Same website as Sams above. ESSENTIAL TO BOOK AHEAD
