SECRET GARDEN Secret Garden is hidden on the heights of Taling Ngam, in the middle of nature, in the middle of the jungle and durian plantations. Once you enter this magical place, you are enthralled by these many statues with amazing shapes. They are the creation of a former fruit farmer from Koh…

Great panaoramic vantage point. Lovely gardens with artifacts scattered throughout. Maybe the highest tourist viewpoint on the island.

To get to the Secret Buddha garden does require walking up and down a very steep slop that is about 50 meters long. There are pleasant small gardens to walk around for half hour, nice small waterfall and stone statues either side, which represents people in many poses and animals. There is a little…

Secret Buddha Garden is hidden away high in the hills in Koh Samui's interior, offering majestic views and an unusual collection of statues amid lush jungle surrounds. “NA MUANG WATERFALLS Although Koh Samui has several waterfalls, the 2 cascades of Namuang are probably the most picturesque and impressive. The rocks and tree roots form a natural staircase that leads to the base of 'Na Muang 1'. A large natural pool is located under the waterfall. A 10-minute walk up the mountain leads to the most beautiful waterfall on the island: "Na Muang 2" in the heart of lush nature. ”

Place of Worship
“Wat Khunaram is the last residence of Koh Samui’s Mummified Monk. It is an unusual sight; a unique insight into Buddhist and Thai culture. The monk Luong Pordaeng died in 1973 in a seated meditative position and ever since his body has been on display in an upright glass case at the temple. Aside from the Mummified Monk, Wat Khunaram is a fairly typical Buddhist temple, where local people come to make merit and pray daily. Amulets and other Buddhist artefacts may be bought, and visitors are welcome to join or observe the daily rituals Wat Khunaram is on Route 4169 (the ring road) between Na Muang waterfalls and Hua Thanon, 13 kilometres south-east of Nathon Pier and about six kilometres west of Lamai Beach. ”
