About 15 miles west on Route 28 is Phoenicia. Wonderful, charming old theatre and a great diner called The Phoenicia Diner. Plus the river.

If you are lucky enough during your stay that our dear little playhouse has a show up, you absolutely must consider going! This all volunteer staffed theater puts on wonderful work, and the building itself, an old Odd Fellows Hall, is quite the cool artifact!
