Spirits of Mt Vernon is a lovely little wine shop where you can grab a bottle or two to take home, or enjoy in the shop. Spirits has a free wine tasting on Friday evenings complete with live music. The staff here are wonderful and this is a neighborhood institution.

Owned by a local couple, Spirits has everything you need for wine, beer and liquor. You're welcome to sit and sip in the store or grab and go on your merry way. The ambiance is great and the wine is even better.

This is a fantastic neighborhood tasting room and full service liquor store. A wonderful place to spend an afternoon chatting with neighbors and folks strolling up Charles street. Honestly one of my favorites!
