Authentic Japanese izakaya (bbq tapas) restaurant. Reservations recommended on peak days Thursday to Saturday. BBQ sea salt chicken livers, shishamo, and BBQ rice with cheese onigiri are some of my favourite tapas items on their menu. Not pricey but can add up. Another location on Denman and Robson area in English Bay.

This little hidden gem has been hiding in on Main St for a long time now. If you are looking for some authentic Japanese Izakaya (grilled meat on skewers), this is the place. It has great selections of different beers and sakes and also delicious desserts. (If you are in Downtown, they also have their sister location near English Bay too.) Tip* Call to make a reservation!
