Here is a great forest playground. my kids love it there. there is also a great cafe/restaurant. Crowded in the weekend. And beautiful walks in the forest.

Lovely park to go walking and simple but good restaurant with lovely view of the fields. Avoid weekends unless you want to join all the children.

Wonderful walking and nature area, full of beautiful sights. Following a nice walk or even on a rainy day, this is also a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and traditional Dutch Apple pie in the restaurant. This is also a great place to go with children, as the natural playground provides endless outdoor adventures for them.

Visitors centre Natuurmonumenten. A lot of walks start from here, you can also have lunch here.

Fancy a day in the woods nearby? Then take the car to Hilversum and drive within 30 minutes, via the provincial road N201 to Visitor Center Gooi en Vechtstreek in 's Graveland. This is the ideal starting point for a forest walk or bike ride. Over lanes and forest paths you walk past country houses that once belonged to wealthy Amsterdam merchants. Follow a route across the country estates and join the nearby Brambergen restaurant. Children lose all their energy in OERRR's Play Nature, right next to the visitor center. Snuggling with water and sand and climbing!
