The Lakefront hotel has one of Anchorage's nicest decks and a front row seat at Lake Hood, the world's busiest seaplane base. It's a great place to take kids to watch the airplanes take off and land and find a great meal.

Sits right on Lake Hood which is the busiest small plane base in the world (near Ted Stevens Airport). On a nice day, it's fun to watch the float planes take off and land.

Play with the tourists! This is a great place with local flair. It's packed with tourists (hotal bar) and great views. Ask the bartender for a great local IPA or cider.
