My favorite place to hike in Salt Lake City (dogs welcome)! This little slice of heaven is a quick 15 minute drive from the bungalow. SOOO many great hikes and you don't even realize you're right outside the city. It does cost $5 on your way out the canyon unless you are done hiking by 10am every morning. This is also the best way to beat the traffic and crowded trails...early bird get the worm.

Our favorite place to get out of the city. Take a picnic or some tinfoil dinners and enjoy being in the beautiful mountains. A great drive with plentiful hiking and biking trails (Pipeline, Dog Lake)

Fastest way to get into the mountains for a picnic. Day camping, bring up firewood and food. Lots of spots with picnic tables and fire pits. Great for families. Some pet friendly hiking trails here.
