McConnell’s Mill State Park encompasses 2,546 acres of the spectacular Slippery Rock Creek Gorge – a National Natural Landmark. Created by the draining of glacial lakes thousands of years ago, the gorge has steep sides while the valley floor is scattered with huge boulders. Scenic overlooks and waterfalls are popular natural attractions.

Perfect place to spend the day on hiking trails close to creek, woods and big boulders. Repelling and kayaking is big in this area along with plenty of places to fish for stocked trout.

Beautiful state park with miles of trails along the water. Most trails are moderate and definitely require hiking shoe wear.
