일본에서 가장 낮은 산에 생긴 휴양지 가이유칸, 산타마리아호, 대관람차 등 다양한 관광지 대형 엔터테인먼트 단지로 많은 사랑을 받는 곳 산이라는 명칭이 붙어 있지만 사실 5미터가 채 되지 않는 언덕인 덴포잔. 오사카항 근처에 위치하여 오사카항 토사 제거를 위해 쌓여진 인공 언덕이 지금의 덴포잔이 된 것이다. 덴포잔 근처에 이 근방에서는 유명한 모든 것들이 모여있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 최대 규모의 수족관인 가이유칸, 덴포잔 마켓 플레이스, 산타마리아호, 대관람차, 덴포잔 공원까지! 덴포잔 지역을 둘러보려면 필수로 지나가야 하는 곳이다. 대형 엔터테인먼트 단지로 내국인뿐만 아니라 외국인도 많이 방문하는 곳이다.
