Huge park with fields, trails, and ponds. Off-leash allowed (park is not fenced in, so be sure your pup has good recall!)

Few miles of paths through woods, meadows, ponds. Dogs can be off-leash as long as they are well-behaved. Nature-filled and at night, stargazing unless you prefer sounds of waves at Willard Beach

Take a walk around the pond during this short hike in South Portland. This place is very dog friendly. Dogs are allowed off leash at any time as long as they are under voice control. Plenty of places for the pooch to take a swim in the water as well.
