Its a short trip out of town by car...... Or a nice 30/45 min bike ride and if you come back via the coast well worth it on a nice day.... Best English breakfasts bar none, homemade and good produce. Incredible place to buy meats thats local and farm with compassion and the most sustainable methods....

Home to some of the most beautiful gardens in Kent, Quex Park has acres of perfectly landscaped grounds where you can spend hours simply meandering around its lawns, herbaceous borders, ponds, woodland walkways and Victorian Walled Gardens. It is also the home of the historical Quex House, of which some of its marvellous rooms are open to the public in the summer months. Also on its grounds is the Powell-Cotton Museum, which exhibits the large collection of trophies gathered by Percy Powell-Cotton on hunting trips in Africa, India and Tibet.

A special house, garden and museum, farm shop, garden centre and children's play area. The museum is based on a collection of artifacts from Africa and Asia and has the most amazing dioramas.
