Buttes aux Cailles is a 10- minute bus ride (57 direction Porte de Bagnolet) or 25 minute walk away. Most of the Traditional French restaurants & bars on rue de la Butte aux Cailles are pretty good. This incredible neighborhood, which look like a small village within Paris, has a rich history and a strong arty tradition. Discover the beautiful streets, art shops, restaurants and, of course, street art, which cover many walls of La Butte aux Cailles (where sequences of the film Amélie Poulain were made).

Charming little village with its own atmosphere, filled with Misstic stencils and nice cafes/bars. Not many tourists.
