Redding's Mexican Food scene is not like San Diego or Los Angeles but Guadalaraja is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Redding. Their interior has a fun, interesting decor. And they have the best chips and salsa in Redding. They also give generous portions. Prices, especially of late, are pricy so know you're looking at around $18-22 per dish. THE FAJITAS ARE THE BEST This is what I recommend here: The Fajitas are top notch, very tasty. You can also order Fajitas for two and share fajitas with that loved one. DON'T RECOMMEND Don't get the ground beef. And I find their burritos a bit dry.

Great sit down Mexican, he is from LA and learned from some great places he worked at. They have a full bar as well

American-style mexican food in a festive atmosphere. Ask for the (free) bean dip alongside salsa. The carnitas and fajita platters are really good. Relatively inexpensive margaritas.
