This viewpoint has the best view of Cuenca, framed with Cajas National Park and the Andean peaks behind the city. From here you can also pick out 3 of Cuenca's 4 rivers. (Tip: look for lines of large eucalyptus trees along the banks).

The Mirador de Turi is a lookout point perched high above the city, with spectacular views down below. Many of Cuenca’s churches and avenues can be easily seen from this high point located on the southern fringes of the city. It makes for a fantastic place for photos, whether attempting to capture the cityscape or to snap a few Cuenca selfies.

Great overview of the city. This is one of the stops on the tour of the city on the open air buses which leave regularly from Paqrque Calderon in El Centro.

El nombre de Turi (parroquia cuencana), proviene del vocablo indígena kuri, que significa oro. Está situada a 10 minutos del centro de la ciudad
