La facciata è stata rifatta a causa dei danneggiamenti subiti durante la seconda guerra mondiale, ma l'interno si presenta con uno stupendo gotico. A poche decine di metri da Residenza Palazzo MArchesini.

There are some hidden treasures in this church too. My favorite is the recently discovered fresco by Paolo Uccello (1437) which demonstrates the Tuscan painter's passage in Bologna. The fresco was accidentally found in the sacristy and was moved to the first chapel in the left aisle after a restoration. Anche questa chiesa nasconde dei tesori. Il mio preferito è l'affresco, scoperto recentemente, di Paolo Uccello (1437) che dimostra il passaggio per Bologna del pittore toscano. L'affresco venne casualmente rinvenuto in sagrestia e fu spostato nella prima cappella della navata sinistra dopo un restauro.
