This shrine is the only one in the world dedicated to the flight safety!! Many visitors, not only Japanese but also Non-Japanese come to the shrine and pray for the flight safety. Ninomiya Chyuhachi who developed the flight theory had built this shrine to pray for the flight safety and development of flight technology. You can see the engine for Zero fighter plane in the world war II (零式戦闘機) here.
