Knockdrum stone fort is situated on a hill in the middle of a peaceful landscape. The view from up here over the bay is unique. The outer walls of the restored ring fort are almost 2 metres high. In the centre are the foundation walls of a square building.

Ancient hill fort hidden away in the countryside with the most amazing views of the coastline. Park at Castlehaven Church and walk down the hill to the signpost.

Bronze age fort, near Castletownshend village. Climb to the top of the steps to the fort and you will be rewarded by amazing views. Super spot for a quiet picnic.
