No frills, unassuming spot off the side of the road in Lakewood - casually serving some of the best artisan pizza in Colorado. Order at the front and sit there (they have four large tables inside) or order ahead and eat in car or at home. I recommend eating fresh while hot! The Caesar salad is nice, light, solid and made with a very good homemade Caesar dressing (so good they sell to go bottles) - good starter as pizza can take 15-40 minutes depending on time of day. The pizza is top notch and if you are a pizza person - this is a can’t miss. They have some beers and wine as well.

($$) Though Denver isn't know for pizza this place does it well. This is the best wood-fired pizza in Denver. Get the Original and ask for fresh basil on top. It is a little bit off the beaten path but you won't be disappointed.
