Open during the winter season only this is the best mountain restaurant in the valley! Serving 'Grandmothers' dishes in a charming, authentic farmhouse decorated in the local style. The pot bellied stove with the simmering kettle of Gluhwein and the hot chocolate are legendary!

Probably our favorite spot in the valley -- best food on the mountain for sure. Ski down to it or 20 minute walk from the Maison Neuve parking. Unfortunately, it is open in winter only and you should call to reserve. In summer, the restaurant is open for private functions by request.

This is an old farm (16th c?) located just under the Maison Neuve chairlift in les Houches ski area, accessible only on foot/skis/board. It is a delightful place to stop for lunch
