Beautiful walks all around. There is a car park - pay and display - which can fill up quite quickly so get there early. Coffee and snack bar and toilets by the car park.

Atmospheric lake in the heart of the Ogwen Valley, popular with anglers. Ancient legend links Llyn Ogwen with King Arthur, it is said that the lake is the final resting place of his sword Excalibur.

Easy walk up to Cwm Idwal and lake.Takes about 30 mins. Views of Tryfan and the Glyder mountains. Ogwen waterfalls.
