Seafood place that has been around forever. Ask for a window seat.

Great seafood with a view of the ship channel. There is a ferry at the end of road, right before you get to the restaurant. If the traffic is backed up due to the ferry-go around the traffic on the inbound lane (make sure there is no on-coming traffic) then cut over into the restaurant parking lot at the front of the line-the cars waiting for the ferry will not block the entrance to the restaurant.

Monument Inn is a seafood restaurant overlooking the Houston ship channel and located near the San Jacinto Monument. Our favorite menu items include broiled fresh fish of the day with Orleans crawfish etouffee sauce and the stuffed crab.
