Cinder Butte Meat Co. is Prineville's best butcher. We love them for their jerky, but they also have really great smoked pork chops, whole chickens and breakfast meats. Keep in mind that a lot of the meat is frozen (they do have some fresh meat, like steaks), so you will want to come early in your stay to allow them to thaw. Almost all of their meat is local, organic, non-gmo, grass-fed, etc.
