Short easy hikes, creek & a playground for the kids. This is also the site of the Copake Hillsdale Farmers Market spring - fall.

I take the kids here for a walk, playground, river wading afternoon. Popular with dog walkers, and quite manicured grounds. Lots of parking, the weekend farmers market is great, and there's a nice library across the street with a used bookstore on the lower level. Bonus points for being near Crossroads.

Easier, more relaxing hike across the farm foothills of the mountains. Wide open terrain, 360 views, multiple areas to picnic. Great to grab some local foods and a bottle of wine from the market and take an easy hike out to one of the picnic areas. Dog friendly!
