Beautiful walk by the river. We have seen bald eagles here. They rent kayaks in the summer, and there is a little history with some of the old factories still standing.

Beacon. Park right behind the Beacon train station. Offers picnic tables, grills, a playground and a volleyball court. Beautiful views of Hudson River (13 minute drive)

river park is on a small peninsula on the other side of the train station, with a playground for the kids. amazing views for all. trains, boats, ferries, water views abound. the river pool is available for a quick dip to cool off (seasonal). basketball and volley ball courts. grills and picnic accommodations right on the Hudson River. easy outing for family, parking next to park.
