Within a minute drive up the street, the 'BGH' emergency department never closes. Long wait times as with all emergency rooms, but they triage so as to treat life-threatening situations first... so be thankful if you have to wait awhile.

It's always good to know where the nearest hospital is just in case you need one. Heaven forbid you do but still you should know where to go. I always call ahead to see whether Emergency is supper busy or not. That way I can choose which one, Belleville or Cambellford. Belleville is a good bet. (FYI -Cambelleford not bad either).
