Our local shop is definitely NOT open from 8 until 8! Most days it is 7.30am until 12 and then 5pm until 7. But it changes like the wind and you need to check... It does have everything you need if you can't make it to a supermarket and it is not expensive either

Our local village supermarket. Very friendly and great value with a cheese and meat counter too.
