One of our favorite hikes. It's long, but flat and lovely all the way. It's off the beaten path from Lake Tahoe, which means less crowds, so the perfect getaway! Bring a pack lunch and enjoy eating at the lake at the end of the trail. It's a there and back trail, so expect to be hiking for a few hours, and plan accordingly for that. And then enjoy a meal in historic old Truckee afterwards!
