Within the compound of this ancient Hindu temple are many remains: a grand Chedi (stupa) of the Dvaravati period with a Prang (spire) of the Lop Buri period in front. The religious site, at first constructed by Hindu Khmers, was later transformed into a Buddhist temple during the Ayutthaya period. All that is left of the halls are remnants of bricks and walls. Later on, U-Thong style cement Buddha images were added on the Prangs, or spires. The temple is situated to the north of the Lop Buri Railway Station near the PhraKan Shrine.
