Gallery in the Fort opened in June 2015 with the aim to give local artists & craftspeople the opportunity to sell their work. Since opening, we have represented over 30 local artists, many of whom are non professional. From paper cutout artists to abstract, more traditional to felting, we try to give many different art styles an opportunity. Penguins & Puffins Unofficially, we are called the local Penguin Shop by locals, due to our wide range of penguin products. This works in conjunction with our online shop: www.penguincorner.co.uk. Soon after we opened, we discovered a few puffins had moved in and are slowly increasing in numbers.
