The Royal Hotel has been serving cold beer and good times to the Darlington/Redfern community since 1894. They offer genuine Australian pub fare, a great community atmosphere and a newly refurbished upstairs area. THE ROYAL La Palma is designed to look like a Havana bar from the 1920s and 30s. To that end, the bar is filled with rattan seating, wicker pendant lights and a timber-clad bar with lots of green marble. The outdoor area — decked out with palms, banana leaves and other plant life — is a go-to for post-work cocktails during the warmer months.
