This large restaurant has a pub-style menu, although a little pricey. However it offers a huge fireplace in winter with comfy leather lounges.Large, stylish restaurant space with huge fireplace in winter & comfy leather lounges. Friendly service./

The Lake George Hotel is a country pub with all the usual facilities, as well as their surprisingly good restaurant ‘George Dining & Bar’. A large, stylish space with friendly service, they have a great local wine list, a good menu, huge fireplace in winter & comfy leather lounges. Suitable for large groups (recommend booking), they also have a great back yard and playground for children. (Only drawback: Little bit pricey for a country pub.)
