이올라니 궁전. 하와이 왕조 때 지어진 궁전입니다. 사탕수수 산업이 호황일 때 그때 당시로 30만불을 들여서 지은 궁전이라고 합니다. 나라를 빼앗겨 본 역사가 있는 한국인으로서는 하와이안의 슬픔을 조금이나마 느낄 수 있는 곳입니다.

The only Royal Palace in our nation, 364 South King St. ph#(808) 522-0822, Sunday closed, Monday-Saturday, 0900-1600 hours, admission $20 and up, metered parking, see website. (Bonus: Our state capital is north, our state library east, and the Kamehameha statue south of Iolani Palace, west is only office buildings fyi).
