Residenzplatz and all the old city center around it is stunning and great to just have a walk about. In the Domquartier you can do a tour, which takes you through the old buildings into the Dom.

There are so many beautiful places to see in Salzburg that the best bet is to put on really comfortable sneakers and wander around the streets. Start on the Residenzplatz looking up at the magnificent Cathedral and beyond that to the Fortress!
